After nearly 17 years in an advanced career in higher education, I decided to take my life path in a direction that I had always dreamed about...massage therapy. I knew I was being called in a different direction from the career I was in, and after much consideration and thought, I turned in my notice to the university that had been so good to me for so many years to become a student myself at Georgia Massage School. 

I love the peace that comes with massage therapy as the client, but more so as the practioner. To be grounded and in unison with the client allows for a more targeted and thorough treatment, and this builds a rapport with the client that unique and beneficial. The rewards of my job are immense and typically immediate. To see a client become more mobile with less pain after therapy sessions let me know I am on the path meant for me for these individuals who need relief.
